【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforsemi-rigid(bendable)corrugatedstainlesssteelpipeandassociatedfittingsinthenominalsizerangeDN10toDN50andintendedforuseasinstallationpipeworkforthesupplyof1st,2ndand3rdfamilygasesinpermanentbuildings.Itappliestocorrugatedpipeandfittingswhicharesuitableforamaximumworkingpressureof75mbarwheninstalledinaccordancewithBS6891orBS5482-1indomesticpremises,orinaccordancewiththeInstitutionofGasEngineerspublicationIGE/UP/2[1]inotherpremises.Requirementsfortheprotectionoftheoutersurfaceofthecorrugatedpipebyacoatingoracoverareincluded.Corrugatedstainlesssteelsemi-rigidpipetothisstandardisnotintendedforapplicationsinwhichduringinstallation,orsubsequenttoinstallation,itcanbesubjectedtorepeatedbending(seeA.5).InformationtobeprovidedintheinstallationinstructionsisspecifiedinAnnexA.AnnexBgivesguidanceonthenatureoftherequirementsandtestmethods,toassistinthepreparationofqualityplansforthemanufactureofcorrugatedpipeandfittings.AnnexCgivesthesuggestedsizesoffittings.NOTE1Atypicalmethodofinstallation,usingcorrugatedpipeandfittingsconformingtothisstandard,istoconnectthemeteroutlettoacentrallyplacedmanifoldbytheuseofsuitablysizedcorrugatedpipe.Eachappliancecanthenbeconnecteddirectlytothemanifold,againbytheuseofsuitablysizedcorrugatedpipe.Alternatively,forsmallinstallations,teescanbeused.Asthecorrugatedpipecanbereadilybenttotherequiredshape,bendandsweepfittingsaregenerallynotrequired.NOTE2Thethreadedend-fittingscoveredbythisstandardarerequiredtoconformtoBS21(see6.4)andarethereforesuitableforuseinconjunctionwithfittingstoBS143&1256orBSEN10242whichhavejointingthreadsinaccordancewithBS21.NOTE3Attentionisdrawntothepossibilityofrestrictedaccessonsiteandtheneedtoconsidertheapplicationofforcesandtorquesrequiredforassembly,particularlyforlargerdiameters,whendesigningandplanningtheinstallation.
