【摘要】:Theprocedurecanbeincorporatedintoprotocolsusedtoevaluatetestmaterialscontainingantibacterialingredientsthatareintendedtoreducesignificantlythenumberoforganismsonintactskin.Italsomaybeusedtoprovideanindicationofresidualantibacterialactivity.Performanceofthistechniquemayrequiretheknowledgeofregulationspertainingtotheprotectionofhumansubjectsiftheprotocolinvolvesapplicationofthetechniquetotheskinofhumansubjects.1.1Thistestmethodisdesignedtorecovermicroorganismsfromtheskinofhumansubjectsorhumansubjectsurrogates(animalskin,isolatedporcineskin,humanskinequivalents,andothersuchsurfaces).1.2Knowledgeofmicrobiologicaltechniquesisrequiredfortheseprocedures.1.3ItistheresponsibilityoftheinvestigatortodetermineifGoodLaboratoryPractice(GLP)andGoodClinicalPractice(GCP)isrequired.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
