【摘要】:ThisTechnicalSpecificationdefinesanumberofmetadataelementsthatdescribedocumentscontainingmedicalknowledge,primarilydigitaldocumentsprovidedaswebresources,accessiblefromdatabasesorviafiletransfer,butcanbeapplicablealsotopaperdocuments,e.g.articlesinthemedicalliterature.Themetadatashould:~supportunambiguousandinternationalunderstandingofimportantaspectstodescribeadocumente.g.purpose,issuer,intendedaudience,legalstatusandscientificbackground;beapplicabletodifferentkindsofdigitaldocumentse.g.recommendationfromconsensusofaprofessionalgroup,regulationbyagovernmentalauthority,clinicaltrialprotocolfromapharmaceuticalcompany,scientificmanuscriptfromaresearchgroup,advicetopatientswithaspecificdisease,reviewarticle;~bepossibletopresenttohumanreadersincludinghealthprofessionalsaswellascitizens/patients,,bepotentiallyusableforautomaticprocessinge.g.tosupportsearchenginestorestrictmatchestodocumentsofacertaintypeorquafitylevel.Themetadataheredescribedisnotintendedto:~describedocumentsaboutasinglepatient,suchasmedicalrecords;~describedetailsofthemedicalcontentofthedocument(butsomeideaofthecontentcanbedescribedviakeywordsorcodes);~prescribecriteriaforthequalityofthedocumentcontent.
